Spanning over 32 categories, the products contained in this catalog enhance the Air Force Emergency Manager's ability to 1) publicize their installation's emergency management program, 2) tailor hazard awareness messaging using a variety of tools for an eclectic community, 3) execute their local 'Be Ready' awareness campaign in a professional, affordable manner, and 4) focus manpower and man-hours on execution rather than product development. Airmen must quickly respond to a CBRN incident to mitigate the effects of its associated hazards. By applying contamination mitigation measures, essential functions that must continue, are enabled to restore capabilities and combat power required to accomplish the current mission and achieve operational objectives. These actions are taken, as the situation permits, to limit the spread or effects of hazardous contamination. [ ORDERING PRODUCTS IS EASY! ]
The Air Force Civil Engineer Center, Emergency Management Division (AFCEC/CXR) will periodically conduct a bulk print ordering period which allows installation Emergency Management personnel to order products shown in this catalog prior to an actual bulk print run. The ordering and printing of these products is centrally managed by AFCEC/CXR to ensure the products our Emergency Managers are using maintain the highest quality and to ensure the Air Force receives the best pricing possible for those products through bulk printing processes.
All you have to do when the ordering period is announced is (first and foremost) follow the ordering period directions, then use the electronic catalog to choose the items and quantities you would like to order, go to the "Shopping Cart" tab of the catalog and populate the required information; making sure you input all the information accurately. When you have reviewed your order form for accuracy, press the "Submit Order" button and your order will be placed. You will receive an email detailing the products you ordered.
Once the ordering period is closed, AFCEC/CXR will complete all the necessary steps to have all the items bulk printed. After printing, the products will ship directly to the address you provided on your order form. It's that simple!
